Local Election Results

Thursday Apr 30, 2009

Although with the problem lying in the very bottom people try to seek results looking at it as an overview committing many misunderstandings . Sometimes it is in the counties in United Kingdom, and sometimes it is in the states of United States of America or maybe a small province that those problems could be solved. It would be a wiser idea to practice certain kinds of elections in these smaller patricians of a country.

local election results

Local election has its own meaning depending on the country. The state elections are the commonest in USA.In electing a mayor there could be no other better method than a local election . The presidential election is also a combination of all the local votes provided by each and every state . By getting the local votes as one unit it has proved success that always the better person comes as the winner in USA. It gives more respect to all kinds of people regardless of their density compared with the whole population.

In United Kingdom however local elections became a landmark allowing even 18-20 years to also be a candidate for council seats. Council elections in UK are held with great interest. Internet and telephone voting were common in getting the local election results . With the results it was obvious that in almost all the districts the councils have achieved a different result to the overall general elections and hence regarded as a giving more authority on the people living in the area to choose their councilors.

In Middle East however the local elections are used to deal with the water supply and power and etc. The idea is to separate the units who practice the orders given by higher authorities.

missouri election results

Situated in the mid-west of America, Missouri is the 18th most populous states in the United States of America. Missouri has a mix of urban and rural culture, and the Missouri election results have, over the past many years, been an accurate prediction of who the next President of the United States would be. A big exception was made last year, when in the November 2008 presidential election, John McCain and Sarah Palin from the Republican Party won over Barack Obama and Joe Biden of the Democratic Party in the Missouri election results by just 0.1%. Although a seemingly negligent amount, the Missouri elkection results show how closely divided the nation was about the election.

Missouri is well known as a bellwether state in American politics. That is, Missouri has the highest number of times of having supported the national winner of the Presidential race in the country in every election since 1904, and so Missouri election results are historically considered to be an accurate representation of what the presidential race will end up as. The only times the Missouri election results did not live up to its expectation was in 1956 when the state voted for Governor Adlai Stevenson of Illinois over the winner of that year’s presidential election, serving president D. Eisenhower, and in 2008, when the Missouri election results showed a very slight majority for Senator John McCain of Arizona over Senator Barack Obama of Illinois. It is no surprise then that candidates try very hard to win over the people in this state, and focus a lot on the outcome of this state.

It is not only the presidential election that Missouri election results would play am important role. As one of the most densely populated states in America, its impact would most probably be felt in a presidential election. This power is something that has to be used wisely. After all, we as the people have the power to elect someone to do what is right and necessary for our people, our country, and our world, and that responsibility is not something to be taken lightly. As much as the Missouri election results have an important role to play in the election game, so does each and every one of our votes.

Why Not Buy Pepper Spray

Tuesday Apr 28, 2009

Before I get to why you should buy pepper spray, I must say I’m feeling like something’s bubbling beneath the surface this afternoon that needs to break out. It’s kind of like volcanic magma, or a white phosphorous grenade, for those of you familiar with ordnance.

Yesterday on the TV, the story was AIG. Outrage! More outrage!

Yes, the CEO Ed Liddy is a moron, but that isn’t the important story. And no, AIG executives, who wrecked the company, don’t deserve a penny for their efforts.

The real story you should be paying strict attention to, is the nutjobs who were basking in the well of the House and Senate, threatening AIG executives with confiscatory taxes if the money isn’t returned. The brigade was led by our wonderful friend Chuck Schumer, the senior Senator from New York.

Chucky rambled on and on while his sidekick John Kerry oohed and aahed, or maybe he just badly needed a bathroom break to get rid of the previous night’s filet de boofe.

But let me tell you a tiny factoid you probably want to be aware of. The candidates who bagged the most green from AIG are:

1. Christopher Dodd (Now there’s a big sur prise, sur prise, sur prise, as Gomer used to say). Wherever there is corruption, whether in finance or housing, Chris Dodd is standing there…watching the building burn to the ground. But he’s going to set things straight.

2. Chuck (U Farley) Schumer - Now this is interesteing. The idiot leading the cavalry against AIG got the second largest pile of campaign contributions.

3. President Elect B.O. - That’s right ladies and germs…El Jefe squeezed in third in the campaign dough competition…followed of course by…

4. John McCain - followed by…

5. John (why the long face) Kerry

6. Joe (Indie) Lieberman

7. Joe (Guh?) Biden

Now of course there were Republicans who took their share…but 85% of those who took AIG money were in the Dumbo Party. (It’s far easier to collect those big amounts.)

They should be forced to give that money back.

They should be fined an amount equal to what they took, and then some.

They should be removed from office, and get no pension.

They should be forced to scrub bathrooms at Penn Station for the remainder of their miserable hypocritical lives. (Or stay in a home with Nancy Pelosi.)

So…you want to buy pepper spray.

Let’s say you want it to protect yourself, your family, or even your idiot liberal cousin from Massachusetts. Or Connecticut, or New York.

There are a few things you should know.

1. The elements.

2. Where you are.

3. Range

4. What kind of effect you’re looking for.

You should ask:

When do I strike? Do I spray many times? How effective should my pepper spray be? Will I be inside or outside? Is there wind? Is it raining? If I’m indoors and use pepper spray what should I do after?

Personally I like more power, like Tim the Toolman Taylor. So I always go for Wildfire pepper spray. It can burn the balls off a bear in seconds, believe me I’ve tested this. Now sometimes you might prefer the Mace Pepper Gun, which has a range of twenty-five feet. It won’t burn like the tenth level of hell, but sometimes you only need Level 1 or 2. And trust me, the mook won’t know the difference.

All pepper spray gets the job done. That’s the primary reason you buy pepper spray. It’s a deterrent, and a good one too. My personal feeling is that some deterrents are more effective than others, and they leave a psychological mark on a mook. Wildfire leaves a permanent scar on a mook’s psyche, and he will forever equate whatever crap he was trying to pull with severe pain.

The Mace Pepper Gun can lay the smackdown on a mook without you getting close.

But the thing is, to be effective, you must buy pepper spray, some kind, some type, and carry it with you. It sure as heck isn’t going to be effective sitting in my warehouse. (I pity da fool…)

You wan’t protection…buy pepper spray.

And dream of the time you get jumped by a dirty, unshaved mook who looks like Chris Dodd…(spray spray spray…Oh isn’t that you Senator…spray spray…I guess that hurts…spray spray spray…did you say something there…spray spray…did you ever return that AIG money?)

Try it, thinking about that scenario is more fun than you’d imagine.

At least that’s true for me.

sample of election ballots

Most of the time people seek solutions to problems from the very highest level without knowing the problem lies in the very bottom. These smaller sections that could solve the problem could be a state, a county or even a province. So the elections are to be conducted in these local positions.

Local election has its own meaning depending on the country. In USA it could be the elections held in separate states. In electing a mayor this local election system has worked pretty well in the country .The state votes are considered the base unit for the presidential election of the united states . To get the best person suitable it is believed that local votes are the best option. Local election ensures the impact of all kinds of people rather than the majority.

In United Kingdom however local elections became a landmark allowing even 18-20 years to also be a candidate for council seats. Council elections in UK are held with great interest. Local election votes are gathered using internet and telephone voting . The results in local elections had deviated dramatically from the general election results and also they had a better variation of winners party.

The most important aspects in middle east being water and power it is being given authority to the local governing authorities to handle the matters. This way the concepts and ideas from higher levels could be passed down and practiced in the lower level.

As the most popular local election London mayor election stands out to be very attractive to many people around UK. In 2008 Conservatives Boris Johnson was elected as the mayor of London which was a remarkable win.

local elections results

T-shirts, essentially, are informal attire.  Several kinds of t-shirts are to be sold in the marketplace presently.  Collarless, sleeveless, and button less t-shirts are some of them.  Contrary to the past, globally, businessmen with creative talents are using t-shirts as a means of advertisement to publicize their wares.  Election t-shirts are one upshot of such creativity

Just like we saw t-shirts with different logos, photos, cartoon characters, funny messages, witty sayings, and etc., at present it has been used in election activities as well.  Or else is it vice versa?  However, it is the done thing nowadays to utilize t-shirts for one’s electioneering to secure maximum number of ballots  During the 2008 presidential polls in the USA, election t-shirts belonging to main contenders were in evidence everywhere.

Barack Obama and John McCain campaigners sported t-shirts with the photographs of their contenders.  Some party workers displayed the photographs of their presidential hopefuls along with the name of the State they were from.  These election t-shirts had catchphrases and sentences on them.  Several persons with creativity had invented very interesting mottos with interesting colors.  These t-shirts by themselves were ballots attractions.

It was not always the same during the presidential elections of 2008 in the United States of America.  T-shirts of Barack Obama were outstanding and famous among the well-wishers, supporters and voting public.  Majority of these t-shirts carried photographs of Obama along with his name in matching colors and styles.  Also, there were some election t-shirts that had some humorous messages alongside the images of Barack Obama.  However, the idea of sporting these t-shirts were almost same.

The election t-shirts are made use of to collect funds and disseminate information regarding voting.  They may have messages for voters to attend to voting on Election Day and carry other significant news to the voters easily.  Election t-shirts are usable for such good intentions.  This is one of the cheapest ways of securing votes at elections.

Now that election t-shirts have come to stay, it is advisable for candidates to find ways and means of making full use of them to promote their political campaigns in order to secure maximum votes possible.  Cost-wise, it is very profitable too.
