This song is entitled “Thank God You’re A Woman” © 2008, Lisa Mei Norton
It is a song I originally wrote and performed with my guitar in 1999 for a Women’s History Month function. I finally decided it was time to create a backing track for it and I updated the lyrics a bit…
I was inspired to work on this song and create this tribute video when I learned of Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin being named by Senator McCain as his Vice Presidential running mate…I am beyond impressed by all her outstanding achievements and salute her for fighting a good fight during this very tough campaign…

The Fairness …
The Fairness Doctrine..makes me wonder. The abolishing in Unions to have secret ballots make me wonder (another Democrat agenda). Makes me wonder somebody or party wants to shut up the freedom of speech and freedom of secret ballot. I see more than Socialism here, I see tyranny. Lets see, I voted against Gore, Kerry, Clinton, Carter. Correct if I am wrong, but I think they were all white. I vote for principle, conviction, and ideaology. I vote Republican because I believe in the values of the Party, as Democrats vote for their beliefs. I remember years ago, we Conservatives were pushing for Condi Rice to run. Wow! The latest dumb thing Palin has done is to say that people who bomb abortion clinics are not terrorists. Attacks on family planning clinics have left several people dead and scores wounded. But that’s ok with her. Her view is that there should be no abortions even in the case of incest or rape. Thank god that she and McCain have no chance of winning the election and that democrats will soon be in the white house.

I don’t think that ALL who oppose Obama are racists. Not at all. There are many people who have opposing political views, and race is not always the main issue to all people. But the racist white supremacists and KKK people seem to love to go to a Palin rally. She is the one playing the race card in this election, motivating the extreme right wing to vote for McCain.
